“ Canton Manor is a great spot to bring family and one table seats approximately 8 to 10 people. The servers are highly enthusiastic to serve you and primarily speak Cantonese. The food is great and active standard for any banquet style hall. There is ample parking, but it can still be a challenge at peak times so carpool if you can. ”
“ Food 10/10 I came from the city to Bayside just to have dim sum at Canton Manor. I was not disappointed. The food and ambiance were great. I'm unsure if their other dishes are as good, but the dim sum was delicious. Service 10/10 The service was fast and efficient, even though we had no reservation and our party was seven. The only thing I would like more is milk tea or coffee; I think it would be a great combo with Cantonese dim sum. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit. ”
“ Not bad! I just tried a few of their dim sum, but I found the food overall was pretty fresh. I liked that there was a good ratio of dim sum carts to tables and that the space isn't _enormous_ so that we were never waiting too long for the carts to come by, and when they did come by, they always were stocked. I constantly saw the carts going into the kitchen to restock, and none of the food looked like they were sitting out for that long. We tried: - Stuffed Eggplant: Love how large the eggplant pieces were and how the flavors were balanced -- we could taste the actual eggplant flavor, and the shrimp stuffing didn't overpower the eggplant at all. - Shrimp Rice Rolls: Some of the rice paper wrappers were a little too mushy, but overall they tasted good. - Roast Pork Pineapple Buns: These were so fresh and delicious. The pineapple buns were so soft. There was just enough filling in the buns too -- not too much or too little. The pork filling was a tad bit too sweet, but overall these were probably my favorite out of everything I tried. Would come here just to order these again. - Pan-Fried Chive Dumplings: Pretty oily, but not bad. There also were shrimp pieces in the filling. The skin was pretty mushy, and I feel like these are best eaten when fresh out of the kitchen because then there is still that crisp to the skin. - Egg Tarts: Decent. Not good or bad. These didn't taste too heavy. - Baked Pork Cake (Triangular Cake): These were so dense. The pork filling was good, but the cake/dough was so mushy and there was just too much dough. Would not recommend these. Overall, I'd definitely return if I was in the area! It was crowded when we came, but it wasn't rowdy or unorganized. Service was really good, and the servers were all nice. Very much so want to try their non-dim-sum foods like their casseroles next time. ”
“ Canton Manor is located where Korean BCD Tofu House used to be on Northern Blvd. My family, a group of 4, arrived around 5:15pm on a Saturday and were seated right away. By 5:45pm, the restaurant was packed and a queue started to form for tables. The restaurant is very spacious and didn't feel over crowded. I haven't had traditional Cantonese food in a long time so I was very excited to have these dishes again. We ordered the Bean Curd & Braised Fillet Fish, Seafood Chow Fun, Seafood In Bird's Nest, Sautéed Snow Pea Tips with fresh garlic, and Jumbo shrimp with walnuts in mayonnaise sauce. Everything came out pretty quickly and was very hot. They were big portions and very flavorful. I believe all the dishes were worth the price. At the end of the meal, the check and oranges were brought to us. Service was okay, I think they were feeling overwhelmed with all the busyness. The parking lot is small. When we arrived, we got a spot pretty quickly and when we were leaving, there was a car already waiting to take our spot. I would definitely visit Canton Manor again. ”
“ We made reservations for a Saturday night for 5 people. Service was prompt and and there were a lot of waitstaff. We ordered about 7 dishes and no joke, they all came out in about 10 minutes and were piping hot. Just lovely! The restaurant was bustling at that time but the noise level and acoustics not bad. Very good Cantonese food. I sigils go back again. ”
“ I've been here a couple times. Once for dim sum and once for lunch. If you live in the area, you could skip the trip to Flushing and eat here. The food is just as good. My last time here, we had visiting family and ordered a ton of food. Some dim sum and some dishes. The lunch special is a great deal. Good enough amount to share if you're ordering several dishes. Everything ordered was great. The dish that really stood out from that feast was salted fish eggplant & chicken. It was so flavorful and well done. Service was pretty good. We were there for quite some time and they were probably annoyed with us lol. Highly recommend if you're in the area! ”
“ We had a good dining experience today. Great Dim Sum selection. All are fresh and flavorful. Cart ladies are nice and hospitable. My son s favorite is the piggy custard. The lobster sticky rice is very well/ executed. The star of table. Balanced taste and the rice is quite pleasantly chewable. The Peking Duck is a complete disaster! Greasy as the hell! Thickly cut pieces smothered with overly sweet bean sauce. My son barely finish one ( normally he can eat at least 5-6 pieces). The service is rather good. Old Cantonese atmosphere. Very happy and warm. All ingredients are FRESH! ”
“ This review is specifically for dim sum. We arrived on a Sunday morning at 9am ish and it was already filling up. By the time we left (10ish), it was packed. Workers were really attentive and friendly, and would often refill our tea. In terms of food, we definitely had better, but I would still say it's good value for the prices. Some dishes were great like the pork ribs, bean curds, and beef tripe with daikon. Some dishes were a miss like the marinated chicken feet (it was steamed fresh, but it tasted odd), the Chaozhou style dumplings (had way too many peanuts, that I had to remove about 80% of it), and the pan fried daikon cakes were not crispy enough. ”
